The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh has written to Anna Hazare to break his fast. In his letter, Dr. Singh expressed concern about his health and said that they are together in the fight against corruption. The Prime Minister further said that Anna Hazare's Jan Lokpal Bill will be presented before the Standing Committee if Lok Sabha Speaker allows so. This was told to All India Radio by the Prime Minister's Media Advisor, Mr. Harish Khare. Meanwhile, Mr. Pranab Mukherjee has been nominated as Government's mediator with Team Anna to break the logjam over Lokpal issue. Anna Hazare's close associate, Arvind Kejriwal said that he had a discussion with Law Minister Salman Khurshid on Moday and it was conveyed to him by Mr. Khurshid. Anna Hazare is on indefinite fast which has entered 8th day today to protest against the government's Lokpal bill. He wants discussion and inclusion of certain clauses of his Jan Lokpal bill. Meanwhile the Government has also convened an All Party Meet tomorrow to arrive at a consensus on the issue. The Congress party sources said that party President Sonia Gandhi, who is recuperating after having undergone a surgery abroad, has been kept in the loop about the developments back home.
