The government today said that it will table the Ranganath Commission report on reservations for minority communities in Parliament before the current session gets over. The Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh gave this assurance in Lok Sabha today when the SP leader Mulayam Singh Yadav raised the issue in the House. Dr. Manmohan Singh said taking note of the sentiments of the members, the report will be placed in the current session of Parliament. Earlier, Mulayam Singh Yadav while raising the matter said that although the report had been submitted to the government two years back but it has not been placed before the Parliament. He referred to the leak of the report in a local newspaper.The Rajya Sabha was also adjourned over the issue yesterday.<br/><br/>Earlier, as soon as the House assembled, the members of the BJP and its allies were up on their feet demanding apology by the Congress member Beni Prasad Verma to for his remark about the former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee yesterday during the debate on Liberhans commission report on the demolition of the disputed structure at Ayodhya. The Prime Minister said that he was not present in the House yesterday but he is apologzing on behalf of his government for the comment made by a member of the ruling party. Our Parliamentary correspondent says that the issue had led to adjournments in Lok Sabha yesterday and the Home Minister's reply to the debate had been marred by sloganeering by the BJP members on the issue through out his speech.
