The Prime Minister has announced an ex-gratia of one lakh rupees each to the next of kin of those killed in an accidental fire in North Tripura district. A PMO spokesperson said, Dr Manmohan Singh also approved an assistance of 50,000 rupees each to the seriously injured. At least 15 Reang/Bru refugees from Mizoram were charred to death and eight others injured in an accidental fire that gutted their camp at Naisinghpara in North Tripura district on Saturday.
