Manipur was known for frequent bandh and blockade before 2017. After BJP led State government came to power in 2017, rift between valley and hills has came to end and now communal harmony and peace has restored in the state. <br />''<br />''Moreover, the state has developed in different sectors. The BJP leader also said that the BJP led state government has able to implement different welfare schemes in true spirit and these benefits are being provided at the doorsteps of each beneficiaries. He said that Manipur is a gateway to Asia for India.<br />''<br />''Mr.Modi also said that the double engine governments is needed at centre and state for further development and appealed to the people of Manipur to cast their votes to BJP candidates in the upcoming Manipur polls. He claimed that the development and governance being done by BJP led government in Manipur in last five years is not happened in the time of previous government. The present Chief Minister N. Biren Singh is contesting from this constituency. The political rally was attended by Chief Minister N. Biren Singh. Speaker Y. Khemchand, minister T. Biswajit, BJP Manipur President A. Sarda and other party leaders. Meanwhile, the Union Home Minister and BJP leader Amit Shah is arriving Manipur tomorrow. The BJP leader will attend political rallies in Churachandpur and Kangpokpi and also joined door to door election campaign in Yaiskul Assembly Constituency.</span><br />
