Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appealed to the thousands of saints of Swaminarayan sect spread across the world to take the pledge for betterment of mother India. <br/><br/>Addressing the silver jubilee function of Akshardham temple at Gandhinagar, Mr. Modi said that they should complete their pledge by 2022 on the 75th anniversary of Indian Independence. <br/><br/>Remembering his personal bonding with late Shri Pramukh Swami Maharaj- the founder of Bochasanvasi Akshar Purshottam Sansthan- BAPS, Mr. Modi said that he was like his father figure and always took his care. <br/><br/>He said that when he was returning from Shrinagar to Jammu after unfurling the Indian tricolour in Lalchowk, Pramukh Swami Maharaj repeatedly called up to inquire the safety of his life.<br/><br/>Prime Minister said that Pramukh Swami Maharaj had immensely contributed in his life also. He said that he was the witness of 25 years journey of Akshardham temple in Gandhinagar.<br/><br/>Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that Pramukh Swami Maharaj has built 1200 temples across the world. He said that these are not only religious structures but also the centres of self-awareness. <br/><br/>Prime Minister Modi said that Akshardham temple was built with modern technology with great combination of spirituality and modernity. He said that person feels spirituality after entering the temple.
