PM addresses rally in Bihar, attacks grand alliance

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today attacked the grand alliance and made a development pitch as he addressed the first of his four rallies scheduled in poll-bound Bihar. Addressing a rally in Munger, Prime Minister said Bihar election is between Jungle Raj and Vikas Raj. Mr. Modi exhorted people of the state to take vow to change fate of the state and vote for development. He asked the gathering to vote NDA to speed up developmental work in the state. <br/><br/>Mr.Modi said Congress, Nitish and Lalu have looted Bihar and now people have become fed up with misrule of these parties. Attacking Lalu and Nitish Kumar, he said for their self interest and power, both of them have formed an alliance. He pointed out that the duo who were followers of Jai Prakash Narayan have now made an alliance with anti-JP Congress who imposed emergency in the country. <br/><br/>Prime Minister said that the changed political atmosphere of State has compelled political analysts to change their basis of political understanding on Bihar. Prime Minister said Congress has lost its confidence and trying to enter into power through the back door. Mentioning RJD leader Lalu Yadav's regime of 15 years, he recalled lawlessness during his period in the State. <br/><br/>Prime Minister also slammed Nitish Kumar and said that Centre has announced 1.65 lakh crore rupee package for the development of Bihar, but Nitish Kumar is creating obstacle in the path of development of the state. He appealed youth to become an agent of change. After Munger, Mr. Modi is scheduled to address back-to-back rallies in Samastipur, Begusarai and Nawada.
