Prime Minister Narendra Modi and around 2000 party delegates will attend the three-day national council and national executive meetings of BJP at Kozhikode, in Kerala, to be held from September 23rd. The meeting is to mark the centenary year celebration of late Jan Sangh leader Deendayal Upadhyayay.<br/><br/>Union ministers, Chief Ministers of BJP ruled states, MPs, party's national leaders and top officials of various state units will attend the national meeting after a long gap of Fifty years. BJP state leaders said , Kozhikode was chosen for the national council meeting as Deendayal Upadhayay was elected Jan Sangh president at the party's conclave in the city held in December 1967. <br/><br/>The Prime Minister will address a public meeting being organised as part of the national council on September 24 th and inaugurate one year long birth centenary celebrations of Deen Dayal Upadhyay.<br/><br/>Bhumi Pooja ceremony in connection with the council was held at Kozhikode today. H Raja, BJP, National Secretary, said the National Council would be a turning point in Kerala politics.
