The crucial meeting of Palestinian Liberation Organisation's executive committee will be held this evening, which is expected approve the indirect talks between Palestinians and Israel proposed by United States. The Arab league has already endorsed the Idea. <br/> <br/>Meanwhile, Palestinian Authority (PA) has asked Israel to make the choice between peace and settlements. This was emerged after the meeting between U.S. Middle East envoy George Mitchell and PA President Mahmoud Abbas in Ramallah last evening. According to Palestinian news agency WAFA, Palestinian chief negotiator Saeb Erekat said now the Israeli government has a choice, either peace or settlements, and it can't have both. He said Palestinians want the establishment of a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital, and the release of detainees and a halt of settlement activities.<br/> <br/>AIR West Asia correspondent reports that Palestinians refuse to enter into direct negotiations unless Israel halts all settlement construction in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, which the Palestinians claim as the capital of their future state. Netanyahu has agreed to a temporary slowdown in the West Bank, but refuses to announce a construction freeze in East Jerusalem. <br/>
