The Allahabad High Court has dismissed writ petitions challenging the acquisition of land for the construction of Yamuna Expressway—an eight-lane highway between Noida and Agra.<br/> <br/>The order was passed by a Division Bench comprising Justice Sunil Ambawani and Justice Virendra Singh with the remark that the Expressway was a project of great importance, in public interest and also crucial for the upcoming Commonwealth Games scheduled to be held in October.<br/>
