The Planning Commission is working on a special development package to the tune of 13, 742 crore rupees for 35 Naxal hit districts of the country. <br/><br/>The Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission, Montek Singh Ahluwalia said in New Delhi today that the commisison is working on the integrated action plan for naxal hit districts spread over nine states. <br/><br/>He said a proposal for the package has come from the Cabinet Committee on Security. <br/><br/>He said the package will be for a three year period for infrastructure development like constructiopn of roads, electrification and providing drinking water. He, however, said that the plan is yet to be finalised.
