The Centre has called a meeting of all the Chief Ministers on 7th of this month to discuss the structure and various other aspects of the reorganization of the Planning Commission.

Intervening during question hour in the Lok Sabha today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the meeting will chalk out the final strategy of the Commission. He also said that the government is holding consultations with concerned stakeholders.
