Planning Commission finalizes Annual Plan for Manipur

The Planning Commission has finalized an Annual Plan size worth of 3210 crore rupees for Manipur for the year 2011-12. The decision to this effect was taken at a meeting held in New Delhi on Monday between Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Montek Singh Ahluwalia and Chief Minister of Manipur, Okram Ibobi Singh. In his comments on the performance of Manipur, Mr. Ahluwalia appreciated the efforts of the State Government in expediting pace of developmental work and also exploring all possibilities of public private partnership in the development of social and physical infrastructure.
