In West Bengal, a MIG 21 air-craft of the airforce crashed near Jakarabari under Moynaguri Police Station in Jalpaiguri district this morning. According to official sources, the MIG took off from nearby Hasimara airbase and crashed on farm land. One villager was killed and 10 critically injured who were on the field at the time of mishap. The pilot of the aircraft has been admitted in the local hospital with severe injuries. Senior officials of the district administration and fire brigade have reached the spot.
