In Australia, four people have been killed and two others badly hurt when a light plane crashed in north-west New South Wales. Emergency services said the six-seater plane, travelling from Brisbane to Moree, crashed as it was trying to land. The Rural Fire Service said the plane came down at the fence-line of the airport, narrowly missing a neighbouring caravan park.There are reports that the plane was tipped upside down. According to police, the two survivors have been freed from the wreckage and taken to hospital with serious injuries.
