The BJP today said that planning commission's report on poverty line is not based on facts.

Talking to reporters outside Parliament, the Party Spokesperson Shahnawaj Hussain alleged that members of the Commission are not aware of actual living conditions of the people.

Reacting on the issue, Smajwadi Party said that 65 percent people across the country are not even able to arrange a proper meal.

Talking to reporters, the Party President Mulayam Singh Yadav accused the policy planners of ignorance. Mr Yadav also demended removal of Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission.
