The Planning Commission has extended by two years completion period of Singhpur barrage new medium irrigation project in Madhya Pradesh. An official release says, the project has to be executed as per the approved outlays in the state plan be completed by March 2015.

AIR correspondent, the Madhya Pradesh government had requested for the extension without any cost overrun in the project for which investment clearance was accorded earlier.
