Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal today interacted with exporters in Santacruz Electronics Export Processing Zone (SEEPZ) in Mumbai. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Goyal expressed the need to transform the entire area of the Santa Cruz Electronic Export Processing Special Economic Zone. He added that SEEPZ could become a dynamic energy hub for the industry<br />''<span style="color: #222222;"><br />''Mr. Goyal also interacted with industry and trade representatives affiliated with SEEPZ and emphasized the discussions on achieving the country's export targets. The Commerce Minister said that the the India Trade Promotion Agency, could set up a 30,000-square-feet Exhibition Centre at SEEPZ in Mumbai.<br />''<br />'' He also discussed plan to invest in modern machinery to accommodate 5 lakh people instead of employing only 50,000 to 60,000 people. Mr. Goyal also said that 30 trillion dollars export is expected from SEEPZ in this regard.
