Rail Minister Piyush Goyal has condemned the incident at Nimtita station of Murshidabad in West Bengal and expressed hope that the culprits would be nabbed soon. Jakir Hossain, the minister of state, labour department of West Bengal had sustained serious bomb injuries in the incident on 17th of February. Mr Goyal was speaking today after inaugurating some infrastructure development projects in West Bengal through video conferencing. <br />''<br />''He inaugurated the 2nd Foot Over Bridge at Santragachi station, Sankrail Freight Terminal (Phase – I) and Vivekananda Meditation Centre at Howrah and dedicated to the Nation the executive lounge at Sealdah Station. <br />''<br />''Two escalators and two lifts at Sealdah station, premium lounge at Kolkata station, integrated security system at Bardhaman station, foot over bridges at Jhamatpur Baharan and Nimo stations, Extension of platform sheds at Balagarh and Guptipara stations and escalators at Barddhaman, Tarakeswar and Nabadwip Dham stations were also inaugurated.<br />''<span style="color: #222222;"><br />''Mr Goyal said that Indian Railways is aiming at modernization of infrastructure development. All the projects either inaugurated or dedicated to the Nation will have direct benefit to the people of West Bengal.
