Textiles Minister Piyush Goyal has said that major growth in the textile sector will come from the Man-Made Fibre industry. Interacting with industry representatives in New Delhi today Mr. Goyal called upon them to make the textiles industry self-reliant, saying the industry should aspire to reach a stage where the entire demand is fulfilled by domestic supply only.<br />'' <br />''He suggested that the industry should work in synergy to amicably resolve the issues among the producers and users of polyester in the entire value chain. The industry representatives responded that they are very much hopeful of achieving the export of 100 billion US dollars in the next 5 to 6 years.
