Union Minister of State for Power Piyush Goel has called upon global community to come together under a single platform to develop clean energy technologies.

He launched inverter-free green energy products that consume less than one third of the currently available conventional solar energy products.

They are useful for lighting, cooling, operating fans and charging purposes and were developed at the research park in the premier technological institute.

Later, addressing the gathering, Mr Goel said only big global corporates are largely focusing on developing green technologies and they use them for profiteering.

He however called for global efforts under a single platform to make cleaner products and technologies so that they would be affordable and available to all. The Centre is resolved to make available uninterrupted power to all by 2022, he said.
