Pirates kill one, kidnap four in attacks off Gabon capital

<span style="color: #222222;">In Gabon capital Libreville, pirates attacked four ships overnight in the harbour, killing a captain and kidnapping four Chinese workers. The West African country's defence and security forces were deployed to secure the area and track down the perpetrators with the cooperation of Interpol and sub-regional bodies.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">  </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Pirate attacks are unusual in the harbour, but extremely frequent in the surrounding Gulf of Guinea, stretched from Senegal to Angola. According to the International Maritime Bureau, it has become the new world epicentre of pirate attacks, lootings and kidnappings for ransom. </span><br />
