Pilgrimage to the Amarnath progressed smoothly today as fresh batches of pilgrims left Baltal and Nunwan Pahalgam base camps to pay obeisance at the cave shrine in south Kashmir Himalayas. <br/><br/>On the 29th day of Amarnath Yatra today , 1115 Yatris paid obeisance at the Holy Cave. Over 02 lakh 12 thousand (2,12,822) Yatris had darshan at the Holy Cave, since the commencement of the 48-day-long pilgrimage from the 2nd of this month. <br/><br/>Meanwhile, the so far, smallest batch of this year's Yatra, comprising 311 pilgrims, today left from Jammu for twin base camps of Amarnath cave shrine amid tight security. <br/><br/>The pilgrims, including 203 men, 73 women and 35 'sadhus', left in a cavalcade of nine vehicles from the Bhagwati Nagar base camp in Jammu for the twin base camps of Pahalgam and Baltal in Kashmir.
