After heavy rain and landslides for about a week, the pilgrimage to Badrinath shrine in Uttarakhand has been resumed today following improvement in weather conditions.

Pilgrimage to Gangotri, Yamunotri and Hemkund Sahib resumed yesterday.The pilgrimage to these shrines was suspended earlier due to inclement weather and blockage of roads.

The Pilgrimage to Kedarnath is still suspended due to damaged roads connecting to the shrine.

However, Border Roads Organisation is making all efforts for clear the affected roads.
