PIL: Chennai Super Kings beat Knight Riders

Chennai Super Kings defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by two runs in the opening match of the fourth edition of the Indian Premier League. Chasing a target of 154 runs to win, the Kolkata Knight Riders could make 151 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs at the M A Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Friday. Jacques Kallis, Manoj Tiwary and M Bisla were the main contributors for Knight Riders. Suresh Raina claimed 1 wicket for 3 runs. For the reigning champions Chennai Super Kings, Srikkanth Anirudha hit 64 runs and shared a 75-run stand with Suresh Raina for the second wicket. Raina hit 33. Anirudha was declared man of the match.
