In Kerala, physical education will become part of school curriculum from next year. Sports minister M Vijayakumar told media at Thiruvananthapuram that student’s up to fourth standard will benefit from this programme aimed at enhancing physical fitness of schoolchildren. The Minister also said that Asian Games and Commonwealth Games medal winners from the state will be honoured at a function on 27th of this month.
