Physical classes in Karnataka degree colleges to commence from July 26

Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Ashwatha Narayana who holds the Higher Education portfolio has announced that physical classes in degree colleges will commence from July 26th.<br />'' <br />'' Speaking to the media persons on the sidelines of an event in Bengaluru today, the minister said that 75 percent of students and college staff have been vaccinated and can attend the college. AIR Correspondent reports that as Covid situation improves in Karnataka and relaxations announced in the lockdown, the educational institutions are gearing up to welcome their students. A special vaccination drive was organised for students studying in the degree colleges.<br />'' <br />'' After vaccination of the majority of students and college staff the Higher Education department has now decided to open the degree colleges. Dr. Ashwatha Narayana has assured that all the students and teaching staff will be vaccinated soon. Only those who have taken at least the first dose will be allowed to attend the college.<br />
