One of country’s leading fashion photographers, Gautam Rajadhyaksha passed away early on Tuesday morning in Mumbai following a massive heart attack. He was 61 years old. The lensman had worked with almost all the leading stars of Indian film industry. He pioneered soft focus photos and changed the look of Indian film and advertising photography.The ace lensman had converted a hobby into a profession and excelled as a glamour photographer, clicking over 200 film personalities in 20 years of wielding the camera as a professional. Rajyadhyaksha is known to have discovered several glamour faces that include Tina Munim, Salman Khan and Indian super model Sheetal Mallar. Apart from celebrities, he has also captured some well known musicians, sportspersons, industrialists and writers.Rajadhyakasha used to write a popular column, ‘Manas Chitra’, in leading Marathi news daily.
