Photo exhibition on ‘Bharat Nirman’ unveiled

A photo exhibition on ‘Bharat Nirman’ was inaugurated on Friday at Gharinda village in Amritsar distrct of Punjab near the India-Pakistan border.

The exhibition highlights various Government-sponsored social welfare and development schemes. It has been organised by the Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting.

Inaugurating the exhibition, BSF Commandant Sumer Singh appreciated the efforts to organise such exhibitions in border areas and said this type of programmes should be organised in other border district too to generate awareness among the people.

The pictorial exhibition highlights various Government schemes, including MGNREGA, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, National Rural Health Missions and Right to Education.
