In Britain, the police on Thursday arrested a senior Hollywood reporter in connection with the phone-hacking scandal at Rupert Murdoch's now defunct News of the World. According to the police at a south London Police station, 38-year-old James Desborough was arrested on the suspicion of conspiring to intercept communications. The arrest is the 13th one so far this year following an inquiry into the scandal which rocked the News of the World's parent company, News Corp, owned by media mogul Rupert Murdoch.
