The former British Prime Minister, Tony Blair, has described the phone hacking by journalists in the UK, as despicable. Mr Blair is touring Australia and met the Prime Minister, Julia Gillard, in Melbourne to discuss climate change and the economy. He said all politicians should reconsider their relationships with journalists, in the light of the News of the World scandal.
