The teachings and philosophy of Kautilya was published in Dutch language by a Mumbai based NGO. Kautilya's work was first published in a book titled 'Kautilya's Arthshastra the way of financial management and economic governance' in English in 2009. According to a press release, it is now available in Dutch as a joint effort of Praan Solutions, Multilibris and Mumbai-based NGO Priyadarshni Academy. Kautilya, who lived from 350-275 BC, was a great political strategist, economist, educator and an expert in diplomacy. Chairman of Priyadarshni Academy, Nanik Rupani said his teachings needs to be rediscovered in India as well as abroad. He said the book in Dutch is in great demand in Netherlands and is a first of its kind in a foreign language.
