Australian cricketer Phillip Hughes, who had suffered a severe head injury due to a bouncer during a match has died. Hughes was in coma for three days following the injury sustained while playing in a Sheffield Shield game in Sydney. He was 25.Hughes needed emergency surgery to relieve pressure on his brain after being struck on the head by a ball during a domestic match on Tuesday at the Sydney Cricket Ground. He was fighting for life at Sydney's St. Vincent's Hospital.
