In the Philippines, Quezon Governor, Rafael Nantes and five others have been killed when a civilian helicopter crashed in Lucena City in the northern province of Quezon. <br/><br/>An armed forces spokesman said the chopper exploded around this afternoon, about 300 meters upon takeoff. He said the chopper hit and burned two houses on the ground. <br/><br/>The killed included Nantes, his escorts, an unidentified pilot and two civilians on the ground. The aircraft was on the way to Manila when it crashed.<br/>
