In the Philippines, talks between the government and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) resumed today. The Philippines government's peace negotiating panel was led by Foreign Ministry official Rafael Seguis and the MILF delegation was led by MILF chief peace negotiator Mohagher Iqbal.<br/><br/>The Philippines government and the rebelling MILF have been holding talks over the past 12 years to end their four-decade conflicts in southern Philippines.<br/><br/>Their last peace negotiations, hosted by Malaysia, were held in January this year.<br/>
