The authorities in the Philippines are stockpiling emergency supplies and preparing evacuation plans as another typhoon menaces the country. Forecasters say typhoon Lupit looks likely to hit northern Philippines in the next three days. Two other recent storms had triggered floods and landslides that left at least 750 people dead.
