Swimmer Michael Phelps brought laurels to the United States of America on Thursday as he bagged the Men's 200-metre Individual Medley Gold by clocking one minute 54.27 seconds. Phelps has now become the first man to win this event at three consecutive Olympic Games.With a total of 20 medals, Phelps is now the highest medal winner in the Olympics. His tally also includes 16 Gold. Earlier this week, Phelps erased the previous Olympic record of 18 medals standing in the name of Russian gymnast Larisa Latynina.
