In Uttarakhand, health services have been disrupted for the second consecutive day today, due to indefinite strike of Pharmacists in all government hospitals of the state. According to spokesman of the Pharmacist association, they are demanding filling up of vacant posts, promotions and removal of disparities in wages. AIR Dehradun correspondent reports that more than one thousand pharmacists across the hill state went on an indefinite strike yesterday causing major problems to patients coming to the hospitals.
