<span style="color: #222222;">The Pharmaceuticals Department has extended the date for receiving the applications for the vacant slots under Production Linked Incentive scheme, PLI, for Bulk Drugs till this month-end. Earlier, the deadline was 13th of March. Chemicals and Fertilizers Ministry said, based on the representation received from the Industries and Associations, the Department has decided to extend the timeline for filling of application upto 31st March, 2022.<br />''<br />''The Department is implementing three PLI schemes for Bulk Drugs, Medical Devices and Pharmaceuticals to increase the domestic manufacturing and to create global champions in the field of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices. The Ministry said, under two rounds of inviting applications, a total 49 projects have been approved so far with a committed investment of three thousand 685 crore rupees.</span><br />
