Haryana Chief Minister Bhupender Singh Hooda said that the prices of diesel, petrol and cooking gas in Haryana are less than those of neighbouring States of Punjab, Rajasthan and Delhi and these prices would remain as such in future. He was talking to media at Rohtak today.He said that the UPA Government had taken effective steps which have helped in curbing the price rise. The State Government is dealing sternly with the hoarders and black marketers and to check hoarding, the responsibility of the officers had been fixed. He said that the stock of essential commodities would regularly be checked in each district. Necessary instructions had been issued to keep a vigil on the prices of pulses, sugar and other items used in kitchen. The Deputy Commissioners had been directed to submit monthly report of the prices of the articles of daily use.
