To give more convenience to new LPG consumers, Petroleum and Natural Gas Ministry will launch SAHAJ online LPG connections today. Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan will launch the facility in New Delhi. The facility will be simultaneously launched at Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna and Pune. All state-run fuel retailers are joining the e-tail bandwagon with a web-based system for selling new LPG connections. The new system will be available on the websites of each oil company and the government's LPG portal, Pahal.<br/><br/>Speaking exclusively to AIR, Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan said, the online system will allow prospective consumers to get a connection from the comfort of their home and it is a part of Digital India initiative.
