Petroleum Minister meets Odisha chief secy to discuss various projects

Petroleum and Natural Gas minister Dharmendra Pradhan met Odisha chief secretary in Mumbai yesterday on the sidelines of Make in India Conference cum Exhibition. Mr Pradhan was accompanied by Petroleum Secretary senior officials of the oil marketing companies. AIR correspondent reports, the two sides discussed a roadmap to develop downstream petrochemical industry in and around Paradip which will be supported by the 15 MMTPA Paradip refinery. <br/><br/>The Petroleum minister also requested the state government for allocation of land for early commencement of Hydrocarbon Skill Development Institute in Bhubaneswar. The Odisha Government has made a request for an Aviation Fuel refuelling facility in left wing extremism affected district Koraput for the helicopters of the BSF and the state government.
