Petrol prices were reduced again for a second time this month. In Delhi, the price of petrol came down by 2 rupees 46 paise per litre at 67 rupees 78 paise with effect from midnight last night. While in Mumbai it came down by 3 rupees 10 paise per litre at 73 rupees 35 paise. In Kolkata, it came down by 3 rupees 07 paise at 72 rupees 74 paise per litre. In Chennai, the price of petrol came down by 3 rupees 13 paise at 72 rupees 27 paise per litre. State-owned oil firms, which had last month hiked petrol price by 7 rupees 54 paise a litre, had on June 3 cut rates by 2 rupees 02 paise per litre.
