Petrol became costlier by one rupee 50 paise per litre and diesel by 45 paise from last night. The rates have been revised in tune with the rise in international rates. The increase does not include VAT or local sales tax. The New rates for petrol sold at Indian Oil Corporation pumps will now be 69 rupees 6 paise per litre in Delhi, 75 rupees 91 paise in Mumbai, 76 rupees 62 paise in Kolkata and 72 rupees 16 paise in Chennai. Diesel will now cost 48 rupees 15 paise a litre in Delhi, 54 rupees 28 paise in Mumbai, 52 rupees 4 paise in Kolkata and 51 rupees 23 paise in Chennai.
