Petrol price was hiked by 83 paise a litre and diesel by One rupee 26 paise per litre.Petrol in Delhi will cost 63.02 rupees per litre while a litre of diesel will cost 51.67 rupees. The new rates came into effect from midnight lastnight. It is the second increase in rates this month.Rates were last hiked by 1.06 rupees a litre on petrol and 2.94 rupees a litre on diesel on First of May.Indian Oil Corporation said, the current level of international product prices of petrol and diesel and the Rupee-US Dollar exchange rate warrant increase in price of petrol and diesel.
