The price of petrol has been cut by one rupee per litre, excluding VAT.The new rate came into force from midnight last night.The new rate in Delhi is 66 rupees 9 paise per litre, and in Mumbai,it will cost 72 rupees 88 paise per litre.In Chennai, people will have to pay 69 rupees, 8 paise for a litre and in Kolkata, petrol will cost 73 rupees, 48 paise per litre.
