<span style="color: #222222;">In Pakistan, the Lahore High Court today accepted a petition seeking Prime Minister Imran Khan's election be declared unconstitutional on the basis that at least 69 members of the National Assembly abstained from voting and failed to participate in the formation of the federal government. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The petition filed last week pleaded that it was mandatory under Article 91(4) of the Constitution that every member of the National Assembly must cast his or her vote to the person nominated for the election of prime minister. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Hight Court court issued notices to political parties concerned and ordered the Deputy Attorney General to discuss the matter with Imran Khan and the Election Commission, and appear before the court in the next hearing.</span><br />''
