In Jammu and Kashmir, Additional Secretary in the Union Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperation, Mr. Ashish Bahuguna reviewed the functioning and performance of Agriculture and Allied Departments in the State at Jammu on Friday.<br/><br/>In the meeting, the concerned authorities from the State apprised the Secretary that keeping in view the potential of the State, the Centre must extend more financial support for uplifting socio-economic status of farmers and emphasized on strengthening coordination level between National Level Organizations like National Horticulture Board with the State Departments.<br/><br/>AIR Correspondent, Yogesh Sharma reports that Mr. Bahuguna expressed his satisfaction over the implementation of the centrally sponsored schemes in Jammu and Kashmir state and assured that the centre will extend all support to the state for boosting horticulture, agriculture and allied sectors.<br/><br/>He emphasized on the state officers to ensure that the farmers must avail the benefit of new technologies and schemes.<br/>
