Minister of Sate for Agriculture Sanjeev Kumar Balyan today said the percentage of women candidates at entry level of Agricultural Research Scientists has gone up to 31 in 2014-2015. It was eight per cent in 2006-07.<br/><br/>Addressing a function in New Delhi to mark the completion of 42 years of Central Agricultural Institutes today, the minister said in direct recruitment which is likely to be implemented shortly, due weightage will be given to the work experience of scientists working in the Krishi Vigyan Kendras. <br/><br/>He expressed satisfaction over the transparent process of recruitment that has earned credibility for the The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board, ASRB.
