Congress President Sonia Gandhi today said people who oppose secularism are not only against Jawaharlal Nehru, but against Mahatma Gandhi as well.<br/><br/>Mrs Gandhi was speaking at the function to commemorate Jawaharlal Nehru's birth anniversary at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi.<br/><br/>She said a true democracy is where people are free to think, free to follow their own religion and express their views. <br/><br/>The party president attacked Narendra Modi government for not being able to protect the interest of minorities.<br/><br/>Training her guns on the Prime Minister, Mrs Gandhi said branding someone a traitor simply because they hold a different view is a form of dictatorship.<br/><br/>She said attempts are being made by certain individuals and elements to to whitewash their communal agenda in front of the world by hiding it behind the mask of development.<br/><br/>In his address, party Vice President Rahul Gandhi said difference between RSS and Congress is that RSS wants to follow only one line, whereas Congress wants to give space to all.<br/><br/>He said Mr Modi had claimed that India is a tolerant nation in London, but says no such thing in India.<br/><br/>He alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has no interest in Parliament, and the questions raised by opposition.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, the Congress Seva Dal today held a Jawahar march rally from India Gate to IGI Stadium to commemorate the birth anniversary Pt Nehru.<br/><br/>Senior party leaders including Ghulam Nabi Azad, Ahmed Patel and Manish Tiwari, along with other party workers took part in the rally.
