In Punjab and Haryana, Shaheed Udham Singh is being remembered on his birthday today.Rich tributes were paid to the great martyr at his birth place Sunam in Punjab and at Shahbad in Haryana.People paid floral tributes at the places where Shaheed’s statue has been installed.In some schools and colleges lectures were arranged in the memory of the martyr.Youth clubs in villages appealed the youth to get inspiration from Udham Singh to serve the country.Udham Singh, a revolutionary nationalist, was born on 26 December 1899, at Sunam, in the then princely state of Patiala.
